   In my struggle to keep this journal alive while not doing anything but rant about my depression......you get a vacation post.
   A week ago I came back from the last and second trip of this year and it was a pretty awesome trip. I spent 11 days visiting a bit of Jordan,Syria and Lebanon then 6 days in Sharm el Sheikh (7th time in Egypt,5th in Sharm.......in only 8 years).
   Among the places visited : Petra,Amman,Dead Sea,Jerash,Damascus,Bosra,Palmyra,Crak de Chevalier,Beirut. My favorite were : Petra,Beirut and Damascus but everything we visited was totally awesome and I am pimping those places ,you should all go there and don't be afraid,they're all very safe.
    Oh and Hyatt Regency in Sharm el Sheikh , I love you bb ,yes I do ,see you next year(I hope!) ,stay luxurious for me !

        I have nothing interesting to write about so I'll just write a few lines about this and call it "updating my journal" .
        Here we go, I went to the cinema today,the cinema at the Mall to be exact (do you want the coordinates too so you can zoom in with google earth? no? ok then). There I saw Inglorious Basterds (yep,one more I.B posts,I'm sure all the cool kids did it already but here it only just premiered) which I only decided to see after hearing everyone loved it because while I like war related movies with an actual story and I like odd movies, Brad Pitt's movies were rarely my cup of tea and I don't find him attractive at all. I was particularly curious to see what the big fuss was in general and to see what's so special about that austrian actor who stole all the attention . 
        The verdict ? Well, I kinda' loved the movie,it's not my favorite ever or anything but it's definitely a great quality movie even though I personally think Tarantino is usually overrated . The movie is pretty smart,great atmosphere,it has a story,some twists,humor,fun characters and situations,some action,a nice ending. I liked that they all talked in their characters language (english,french,german)and I didn't feel any of them was at the very center of the story,they were all parts of a whole,some with a bigger role,some with a smaller one but none actually stole all the screentime.
         Ok,everyone is saying it so I'll be completely unoriginal and say that Christoph Waltz is indeed brilliant.  He plays Landa perfectly ,you just can't hate him even though he's not a positive character and he has very few to no excuses for the stuff he does, he's also a bit crazy and very funny all this while somehow managing to seem the perfect gentleman the whole time. I hope he gets an Oscar,that would be great for him and for european cinema and actors who are most of the time far more capable and prepared than american actors because many times american actors have little training and become famous cause of the movie not their performance while european movies tend to be more about the story than action and actors do serious studying ,they do a lot of theater ,etc. It's enough to look at Hugh and his buddies(Fry,Thompson,etc) and fellow brit actors who are very capable and they have a talent that stretches beyond acting,they're very educated and humble. Anyway, as I was saying, Waltz deserves all the awards and he also happens to be named Christoph which is my favorite name ever.
        I know this is impossible but Waltz should appear on House,they should kick everyone but House,Wilson and Cameron out and just bring Waltz instead of.....say, Cuddy . What?  I know that's not possible but I can at least wish it
        BTW , Eli Roth looks so much like Zachary Quinto in this movie and lately ......it's so funny 
       Right,this was my boring post but at least I made one ! Bored yet? Yes? I thought so ,sorry ! LOL
       
    

  I created my own little Hugh Laurie community hugh_bliss ( Laura came up with that name so she gets the credit for it and for supporting me to go through with my idea). I decided to make this so I could be my own boss for a change LOL and because I noticed that on every community there are certain restrictions regarding adult content, it's sometimes hard to make certain comments that are just funny but some might fight offending and making any sort of negative comment about anything Hugh said,did or how he dressed,looked,etc is frowned upon (which I think is wrong because as a fan I shouldn't be blind,Hugh is not God,he's not perfect and that is not a defect ). So,I made my own community where ,apart from Huddy which I just can't stomach , anything goes and it is an 18+ community where I can also post my dirty manips (cue the dirty perv comments)

      I came back from my vacation in the Austrian Alps ,yesterday ! I haven't decided weather that is a good thing or a bad thing but I'm pretty sure it's not too good, I hate being home with nothing to distract me from my misery.
    
      The 7 days I spent in St Wolfgang,Salzkammergut area ( + 2 in Vienna) were wonderful for the most part. I went there with my mom ( yes,you can call me lame but I always go on vacation with my mom at least once a year because it is just the 2 of us) and we decided to make it a bit of an adventure and take the train (it wasn't the first time,it was the second time) from Bucharest to Vienna and from Vienna to Salzburg ,then the bus to Strobl and then another bus to St Wolfgang(bet you think it is complicated but it was actually not complicated at all). We only had one problem when one train we boarded for Salzburg was full so we wanted to get off but the doors closed before mom could get off so I freaked out thinking she will not only get very upset with me but also get off the train and try to come back to Vienna instead of going to Salzburg(I had the mobile phone and no money,she had all the money and no mobile so ......yeah). Luckily we met in Salzburg as I was hoping and she didn't feel like chopping my head off with a samurai sword. Oh and the train from and to Bucharest is so slow through our country cause we have pretty new trains and old ,stupid rails so it runs like a snail on drugs at times.
    
      St Wolfgang is great,the whole region is very beautiful and we had good weather for most of the time so we hiked a bit (only down the mountain cause I hate climbing),went to Hallstatt and Salzburg and the neighboruring villages like St Gilgen,Fusch,Bad Ischl. All in all it was great but it would have been a lot greater and I would have less regrets if I wasn't plagued by this damn depression and misery that affected me even on my vacation .

I'm sure that I could have it much worse and I'm grateful I don't have it much worse,I also had no major tragedy happen to me directly ,thank God ,but I am at an all time low right now with the university stress and pressure that makes me feel more depressed than usual and coroborated with my general tendency to feel down and with wanting things that I can never have.
An actual rock bottom type of moment was probably when dad died .

     European must know what Eurovision is all about so many should agree that the Eurovision song contest is fun through its amazing potential to be lame.........so it deserves a post.
     Well,the contest itself takes place in May(this year it will be hosted by Mother Russia)but the national selections take place months before that and we just had ours Saturday evening. You see,it's all good fun because it's supposed to be lame and pathetic(well,not really but it ends up being that anyway and we're all ok with it)so I watch it every year to get a good laugh. This year the beginning is quite good,there were only 2 or 3 really mind numbingly bad songs so my brain didn't suffer extensive damage.The rest were either just mediocre or uninteresting or,as was the case with about 2 or 3,interesting.We again chose badly ........or maybe it's just me,I don't know,I just personally liked other songs better ,but the good part is that this girl can at least sing and dance when she has to(she even participated in an edition of our version of Dancing with the Star which is in our country called  Dancing for you and pairs a celebrity with someone who needs help fulfiling a dream - a dream that usually has to do with great sums of money needed to solve someone's medical condition or get someone out of great financial distress,humanitarian stuff - ). But let's look on the bright side even more because I'm known for being a ray of sunshine and always optimistic(HAHAHA LOOOOL) : this years choice is a definite improvement from last year and the year before when we finished amonst the last after 2 years in which we finished top 5(3rd and 4th) without any support from neighbouring countries because we're surrounded by slavic-russian nations like Bulgaria and Ukraine ,Hungary and so on.....none latin like us.
      Here you have 2 songs I did like(the first you might not like because it's in romanian and the lyrics make up half of the songs appeal...they're very funny in a nice way) and the one that won.

     I made a manip in order to make a header,wallpaper or whatever with it so I thought I could share a simple version of it.It's nothing too amazing but I had the patience to actually remove everyone out of the photo except them(and they weren't standing next to eachother either)so it's an achievement for me.

( A short story that explains why this affects me so much )

      It's almost Christmas..............Christmas Eve to be exact and I'm in front of my lovely PC getting bored . I realize some of you(or maybe all of you) might think of this as very weird,sitting in front of your PC on Christmas Eve but for me it's not unusual.See,we have little family in town and most of them are stupid people we don't like (although for some reason they like us ......what's up with that) so me and my mom usually get to spend Christmas mostly by ourselves. Yes that kinda' sucks but what can you do when all the people you know are either celebrating with their big families outside of town or go on trips! Sure,we'll have some guests or go somewhere tomorrow or the day after tomorrow so it's not that bad.
      If u think this is weird wait 'til I tell you about our New Year's Eve tradition (superstition actually) .We always spend New Year's Eve at home because the only time we didn't host a New Year's Eve or spent it at home marked the start of the worst year for our family.

     But don't be fooled ,we're actually fun loving people !

       So House and Cuddy kissed and I saw no chemistry,no passion,it was awkward (granted,it should have been awkward so I won't dwell on that ) BUT I honestly think he has feelings for her and I have dozens of valid arguments . That was no pity kiss,it came after Cuddy basically told him he's an asshole who doesn't show any feelings ,he looked really emotional and touched (he actually looked less emotional and touched during the whole Wilson/Amber situation that ended with Amber's death) and I don't think he would get and act on such an impulse if he didn't have feelings for her (feelings he might not even be aware of),he wouldn't get himself into a situation that could cause him emotional distress and problems if he had no feelings for her.See,one big phrase with loads of arguments why my House/Cameron is dead and that was just the tip of the iceberg !
       I saw the promos for next week and while it is clear House won't open up about his feelings,he'll probably pretend it was nothing,meant nothing and he doesn't give a crap BUT he always does this so it doesn't mean he has no feelings and I got the feeling that there might be some subtle indication towards those feelings in the way he's acting . Some of my fellow Hamerons like the denial and only see House's refuse to talk about it and him telling Cuddy she should forget about it but I can't ,it's impossible.

Ah,my Heroes is back and awesome so I'll make a quick post about that.
